Mission
Mission involves joining Jesus in His work. When we serve others, hope comes alive in us and overflows to others. GLCC has many opportunities to be on mission: Men’s Serve Team, World Renew, Mission Scholarships, our newly developing Missional Communities, and many others.
Men’s Serve Team:
Men bringing hope by responding to local projects or needs that come up within the Gun Lake Region.
World Renew:
Disaster relief and mission projects both local and abroad.
Mission Scholarships:
Helping to support people stepping out into short-term mission.
Missional Communities:
Missional Communities commit to coming together at least twice a month and engaging in “Up, In, and Out” ministry. “Up” asks the community to spend time together deepening their relationship with God. “In” is engagement with each other for care and support. “Out” leads the Missional Community members from the “safe space” of their homes to participate in sharing Christ’s love with those outside the family of faith. Our goal is to have at least one Missional Community in every town/city/lake in the Gun Lake Region.
